In order to expand its investment layout in the upstream optical and electrical chip fields, ZhongJi InnoLight intends to invest RMB 30 million of its own capital into the fund Shaanxi Xiandao Optoelectronic Integration Technology Investment Partnership (Limited Partnership) (hereinafter referred to as "Xiandao Fund") managed by Shaanxi Kemai Investment Management Partnership (Limited Partnership) (hereinafter referred to as "Kemai Investment"). This fund focuses on start-ups and growth companies in the field of optoelectronic semiconductors, as well as semiconductor materials, chips, devices, and equipment; it also invests in integrated circuit (IC) chip design startups with high technological barriers and broad market prospects.

Overview of Industrial Fund 

The investment subject Xiandao Fund was established on August 24, 2016. The founding organization, Xi'an Institute of Optics and Electronics, which is affiliated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has many years of experience in industrializing scientific and technological achievements. Shaanxi Optoelectronic Integrated Circuit Xiandao Technology Research Institute is part of the first batch of 17 national specialized creative spaces announced by the Ministry of Science and Technology. In addition to comprehensive incubation capabilities, the platform also gathers a number of top domestic and foreign optoelectronic semiconductor experts who can not only make professional technical assessments and judgments about the projects to be invested in, but also continuously deliver high-quality projects for the fund.
